We want to remind you that it is forbidden to consume alcohol on the street and in the parks of Montréal.

Furthermore, we do not recommend bringing the following items with you during the parade:

  • Glass containers;
  • Pets, with the exception of properly identified service dogs;
  • Bicycles, skateboards and inline skates;
  • Any other object that could put the safety of festivalgoers at risk.

Please note that sale and solicitation are strictly prohibited on the Parade route.

Festivalgoers behaving in an improper or dangerous manner will have to exit the site.

Upon your arrival, our welcome/security staff will ask you to open your bags in order to inspect their contents.

Here is the list of items that are forbidden on the concert site:

  • Alcoholic beverages;
  • Glass containers – their contents will be poured into recyclable plastic cups at the entrance of the site;
  • Aluminium containers will be opened;
  • Pets, with the exception of properly identified service dogs;
  • Bicycles, skateboards and inline skates;
  • Folding and portable chairs during the show;
  • Any other object that could put the safety of festivalgoers at risk;
  • Sale and solicitation are strictly prohibited on the site of the event.

Festivalgoers behaving in an improper or dangerous manner will have to exit the site.

These regulations are in effect during the opening hours of the event, from 3 p.m. to midnight, in the area that includes the Place des Festivals, Place des Arts and Sainte-Catherine Street.

  • GRAND FINALE AT PLACE DES FESTIVALS IN QUARTIER DES SPECTACLES

  • Techno Parade Paris

    Since 2002, Techno Parade Paris brings together hundreds of thousands of people who spend the day parading the streets around trucks to the sound of techno music. World-renowned artists, such as Bob Sinclair, were the very first to participate in the parade. This event is was inspiration for Electro Parade Montreal and will also the guest of honor in Montreal. The Techno Parade returns to Paris for a new edition on September 23, 2017. It’s a unique opportunity for thousands of people to party in the streets of the capital.

  • Beachclub

    The Beachclub has been a top destination for electronic music enthusiasts for over 20 years. With a capacity of more than 10,000 people, it is the biggest outdoor complex in North America. Featuring great artists every weekend the Beachclub prides itself on its international reputation within the electronic music industry.

  • Elevation

    Elevation is an evening of music, dance and escape in Montreal’s premier venue the Bell Centre, equipped with massive production and configured especially for the night. For its first edition, Elevation hosted Canadian headliners DVBBS, Australian bass duo Knife Party, US livetronica group Big Gigantic and Montreal’s own rising star Michael Sparks.

    evenko

    evenko is a Quebec company which has become the most important independent promoter and producer in Canada. Presenting more than 1,200 events annually throughout the province of Quebec, Atlantic Canada and the eastern United States, evenko plays host to the biggest electronic music entertainers in the world and is also the creator and producer of electronic music festivals îleSoniq and Elevation, as well as Osheaga Music and Arts Festival.

  • Garorock

    Garorock is a festival that takes place in Marmande, in the South West of France. It welcomes more than 100,000 festivalgoers each year and world-class artists such as Muse, Iggy Pop, Justice, MIA, Beth Ditto, Public Enemy, The Offspring, Die Antwoord, London Grammar, Mac Miller and many more. From it’s punk-rock origins until now, the festival has considerably expanded its programming, most notably to rap and now on to an impressive electronic music lineup in 2017.

  • Igloofest

    Each winter, Igloofest brings together thousands of electronic music fans to dance under the stars at Montreal’s Old Port. Bringing together icy decor and steel structures, powerful architectural projections, programs featuring the best local and international DJs, its giant playground and its one-of-a-kind winterwear competition named “Iglooswag”, Igloofest is one of the hottest events in the city, and one of the most cherished in Canada. All told, Montreal is where to be in January and February. #fomo

  • îleSoniq

    Created in 2014, îleSoniq settled into the heart of Montreal, at Parc Jean-Drapeau. For two complete days, the island is transformed into an urban oasis which springs forth and allows the public to live and groove to the rhythms of EDM and urban music’s biggest stars. îleSoniq welcomes the industry’s biggest artists including Tiësto, Porter Robinson, Afrojack, Migos and many more this August 11th and 12th, 2017 for it’s the edition. With its exotic décor, only steps away from downtown Montreal, îleSoniq transports fans into a playful and colorful universe, offering them a unique festival experience.

  • BUD LIGHT LIVING

  • MEG

    Over the years, MEG has positioned itself as the purveying festival of emerging electro, hip-hop and pop rock, with a mission to bring together an audience of curious and open-minded night owls, and to proudly represent the Canadian music scene and to build bridges with the United States and Europe. This year, the MEG Montreal Festival has changed its dates and will be held from August 31 to September 3, 2017 helping to beautifully wrap up the summer. The city will once again vibrate with the sounds of MEG for this 19th edition which still promises to be full of parties, encounters and discoveries!

  • NEON

    Neon is a movement dedicated to throwing quality events in innovative settings. It began as a concept and quickly became a collective in late 1998 when 3 friends crafted Neon (then a labour of love) into the perfect club night that encapsulated the trios ever growing eclectic tastes for music & visual art. Neon would stay true to its mission of quality and originality for the next 10 years, and produce thousands of high quality shows and parties, with some of electronic music’s biggest acts. Now in its 15th year of producing events, Neon has transitioned into a proper concert promoter, producing over 150 shows a year at various venues in and around Montreal while consistently drawing capacity crowds to all of their events.

  • PIKNIC ÉLECTRONIK

    Piknic Électronik Montreal is an outdoor electronic music event aiming to offer immersive, social experiences in a friendly environment. Located in an urban park just 10 minutes from downtown Montréal, he brings together thousands of electronic music enthusiasts every Sunday from May to September. Piknic Électronik Montreal diverse programing has made it a highlight of the Montreal summer cultural circuit for over 10 years. For this year’s 15th edition, Piknic is back with 19 events on the calendar from May 21 to September 24, 2017.

  • ANCIENT FUTURE FESTIVAL x LA BACCHANALE

    Bringing together thousands of festival-goers for three editions, Ancient Future is a new type of electronic music festival created in 2015 by the Bacchanale team. La Bacchanale is an association established in 2013 with the aim of inspiring a new wave to the Montreal artistic scene. It regularly produces immersive electronic music events, on the borders of art and imagination, bringing the best of house and techno music. On the 8th and 9th of September 2017, immerse yourself in the world of Ancient Future thanks to the vibrant and innovative performances of the circus, digital arts, visual arts, performing arts and dance. Under the theme ”Time of the Pyramids”, the Ancient Future Festival returns to the Old Port of Montreal for its third edition.

As we celebrate the 375th anniversary of Montréal, evenko and MEG Montréal are proud to announce the arrival of the very first Electro Parade in North America. This event will happen on September 2nd, 2017.

With the presentation of Électro Parade, Montréal joins a global trend that has notably won over Paris and Zurich, where similar events have taken place in the streets. Local and international DJs standing on parade floats equipped with state-of-the-art sound systems will wander through the streets of Montréal, where countless dancers will party to their electronic beats.
